The narrative of rewarding top performing students is changing as Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu handed a cash gift of five million naira to LASU best graduating student.
Shotunde Oladimeji emerged the overall best graduating student of the Lagos State University (LASU) with a CGPA of 4.95 in the first degree category.
Also, Olabanjo Olusola Aanu emerged Best Masters Degree Awardee, graduating with a perfect CGPA of 5.0.
Governor Sanwo-olu while announcing the donation also said that Mr Shotunde will get a scholarship to study in any university of his choice anywhere in the world.
