The management of First City Monument Bank, FCMB has released a statement of probe of it’s MD, Adamu Nuru mentioned in Paternity Scandal.
Nuru, and one of its former staff identified as Moyo Thomas had been involved in extra marital affairs which resulted in claims of two children supposedly belonging to one late Mr Tunde Thomas.
Tunde and Moyo legally married, had two children which was believed to have been produced by the marriage.
But a report recently says the FCMB MD allegedly had an affair with Mrs Thomas, and the children belong to the bank MD.
Newspaddy gathered that Moyo had told her husband that she would be departing Nigeria for the United States with the children only to tell him on arrival that the children were not his, but for the FCMB MD. And Mr Thomas upon hearing such fell heartbroken and eventually died. Read full story here.
However, FCMB, in response to the Paternity Scandal news released an official statement assuring that the Bank’s board of directors working on the allegation and are committed to serving justice when all investigation is concluded.
“We are aware of several stories circulating across several media platforms about our Managing Director Adam Nuru, a former employee Ms Moyo Thomas and her deceased husband, Mr Tunde Thomas.
“ While this is a personal matter, the tragedy of the death of Mr Tunde Thomas and the allegations of unethical conduct, require the Bank’s board to conduct a review of what transpired, any violations of our code of ethics and the adequacy of these code of conduct ethics
“ This will be done immediately,” the statement read.
