Priscilla Ojong, a 22-year-old Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH female student has been reported missing.
According to a viral story, Priscilla, a third-year university student, went missing three weeks ago after allegedly traveling from Calabar to Lagos State on the invitation of a male acquaintance.
Iwara Iwara, a famous journalist and CaliTown publisher, disclosed that Ojong has not been seen or heard from since she left Calabar three weeks ago, and that her phone has been unreachable.
Two of Priscilla’s friends reported to calitown that she went to Lagos on the invitation of an anonymous male acquaintance, who credited her account with the transportation fare.
One of the friends said she got a call from Priscilla saying she had arrived safely in Lagos and would only be staying for the weekend.
They became concerned when she did not return and regularly called her phone number, which was turned off.
Priscilla’s parents in Akamkpa LGA of Cross River State were contacted after the friends were unable to contact her via phone or text messages for several days.
Their attempts to contact their daughter were also unsuccessful, so they notified the Calabar police.
“We were at the (police) station today. My friend and Priscilla’s dad will be heading to the bank to get her statement of account because the day she traveled the guy in question sent her transport fare”, one of the two friends told Calitown.
